It’s not all four wheels. Tucked among the Australian muscle are two of the most important motorcycles of the 1970s — machines that changed motorcycling forever and still stop bike lovers in their tracks.

If your passion runs on two wheels as well as four, these are the icons you’ll want to see: the Honda CB750 Four and the Kawasaki Z1 900.

Honda CB750 Four

Often called the original superbike, the CB750 changed motorcycling forever. Its smooth inline-four engine and front disc brake set a new standard that the whole industry rushed to follow — a genuine turning point in two-wheeled history.

Kawasaki Z1 900

Kawasaki’s answer was the legendary Z1 900, a 903cc inline-four powerhouse that became an instant icon of 70s performance. Fast, muscular and beautifully engineered, it remains one of the most sought-after classic bikes around.

The 70s didn’t just build great cars. It built the motorcycles that rewrote the rulebook.
